Talented AUCKLAND REACTOR gelding Our Classie Reactor made it three wins from five starts on Australian soil when he came from second last to score at Hamilton on Wednesday (July 21).
Starting from the second row, the six-year-old settled down near the rear before launching a sustained three-wide bid at the 800 metre mark.
He prevailed in the last few strides.
Our Classie Reactor clocked a career-best 1:56.7 for the 1660 metres.
He tramped the last 800 in 56.5 in the centre of the track.
The winner of five races and $25,000 in stakes, Our Classie Reactor was bred by the late Michael Stratford and is out of the Christian Cullen mare Mullaghmore (TT1:58.7), the dam also of the brilliant Bundoran 1:51 ($128,418).
