AUCKLAND REACTOR, who is enjoying another million dollar season, sired winners in Victoria and Queensland on Wednesday night (June 30).
Jimmy Reactor, a five-year-old gelding, became AUCKLAND REACTOR’s 81st individual winner this season when he was won on protest after being edged out on the line at Shepparton.
The gelding rated 1:58.3 for 1690 metres highlighted by a final 800 in 57 seconds.
Jimmy Reactor is from the 11-win mare As I Say (1:58), a David’s Pass mare who left two earlier winners.
Meanwhile, Whata Reactor chalked up her eighth success and sent over stake earnings to over $45,000 with a convincing win at Redcliffe.
Content to take a sit in the early stages, the five-year-old mare tipped to the outside at the 400 metre mark and quickly put paid to the leaders.
She won by an ever-increasing 11 metres.
Bred by Bernie and Catherine Hewitt, Whata Reactor is out of the Armbro Operative mare Narnie, who has left four foals for four winners – two inside 2:00.
