A Mighty performance!

Talented AUCKLAND REACTOR four-year-old Mighty Reactor posted his third success for the season at Forbury Park, Dunedin, New Zealand on Thursday night (May 27).

Starting from the No 3 gate, the gelding had a smooth getaway but was forced to race wide in the early part.

Sent to the top with 1-1/2 laps remaining by Matthew Williamson, Mighty Reactor was able to dictate his own terms.

He was never again headed, scoring under a hold by 1-3/4 lengths. He clocked 58.8 seconds for the final 800 metres.

The mile rate for the 2200 metres was 2:01.1

Mighty Reactor is out of the Live Or Die mare Elite Lass, the dam of an earlier winner in Highland Girl (2:02.9).

AUCKLAND REACTOR has left 29 individual winners in NZ this season and they have amassed $480,000 in prizemoney.
