Shepparton double for Auckland Reactor

AUCKLAND REACTOR took the siring honours at the Anzac Day meeting at Shepparton with a winning double with Time To React and High Flux.

Time To React, a six-year-old mare, came from second last to win in a 1:58.4 rate over 2190 metres.

The winner of six races, the mare is from Your Beautiful (by Astreos), the dam of five winners including four inside 2:00.

An hour later, High Flux posted his second success after coming from four deep on the marker pegs at the bell.

The four-year-old gelding rated 2:00.7 for 2190 metres with the last 800 in 57.7.

It was his second success.

Bred by Joseph Cassar, High Flux is out of the Village Jasper mare Yokas NZ (1:58.7) and is her third winner.

In Zealand, the four-year-old Wrecking Ball sat parked throughout before bringing up his maiden victory at Winton on Friday (April 23).

The gelding rated 2:01.4 over 2400 metres with the final 800 in 58.8.

Wrecking Ball is from the unraced It’s A Delight (by Bettor’s Delight).
