Jaffa Josh too good

AUCKLAND REACTOR led in winners in four different countries over the Easter period.

Jaffa Josh NZ won in 1:58.3 at Launceston, Square Dealer NZ scored in 1:55.4 at Albion Park, Radioactive Jaffa prevailed in a photo at Addington, New Zealand and Smoke N Reactor NZ won her first race in Canada.

Jaffa Josh came from last to make it four wins from five starts in Australia. The six-year-old gelding is out of a Dream Away mare.

Square Dealer led from go to whoa, clocking the final 800 in 56.9 to register his third success from five starts this year. The gelding is from a mare by Washington VC.

Radioactive Jaffa, a five-year-old gelding, raced worse than midfield most of the way before mounting a paralysing finishing burst to notch his second win. Bred and part-owned by Ray Kennedy, the gelding is out of the Live Or Die mare Lavra Ruby.

Meanwhile, Smoke N Reactor, a seven-year-old mare, rallied strongly along the rubber pylons to win in 1:58 at Western Fair Raceway, Canada. It was her eighth lifetime success and increased her bankroll to more than $Can65,000.

Smoke N Reactor is from the Pacific Rocket mare Smoke N Mirrors 1:58.9 ($189,675).
