AUCKLAND REACTOR was represented by ‘new’ winners on both sides of the Tasman on Thursday (March 25).
Ab’s Tenants¸ a four-year-old mare,led from virtually the outset to score at Invercargill, New Zealand, while the three-year-old filly Speedie Eadie won a heat of the Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic on debut at Ballarat.
Ab’s Tenants, who rated 2:00.9 over 2200 metres, is out of the Live Or Die mare Nomorenuki (1:58.3), who produced others in Sell A Bit (1:51.4) and Georgie Martin (1:52.7).
Speedie Eadie, who rated 1:58.8 for 1710 metres, is the second foal and first winner from Grandma Gertie (by Grinfromeartoear), an unraced half-sister to a grand stayer and Inter Dominion champion in Smolda 1:50.6 ($2.4 million).
AUCKLAND REACTOR left a third winner for the day in Baby Bee Mine, who completed backto-back successes at Young. The four-year-old mare is out of the 12-win mare Bee Mine (1:58.2), a Live Or Die mare.
