Talented gelding Plutonium, a New Zealand bred son of AUCKLAND REACTOR, extended his winning sequence to four when he soundly trounced his rivals at Pinjarra on Monday (March 22).
Sent to the front in the early stages, the five-year-old was never seriously challenged thereafter and scored by 9.9 metres.
The mile rate for 2185 metres was 1:58.2 with the last 800 in 57.2.
Plutonium has now won six of his nine starts on Australian soil.
He is out of Go Go Lavra, an Iraklis mare.
Kiwi Kalahari, a five-year-old gelding by AUCKLAND REACTOR, cleared novice class at Kilmore earlier in the day.
The gelding is the 12th foal of the What’s Next mare Autumn Princess, the dam of two high class pacers in Captain Kalahari and Safari Breeze.
In Canada, the former Kiwi gelding Notaword (by AUCKLAND REACTOR) led from end to end in 1:53.2 at Flamboro Downs. The six-year-old is from the Bettor’s Delight mare Raconteur.
