Promising AUCKLAND REACTOR gelding Maxactor peeled off a stunning 55.5 seconds last 800 metres on his way to his fourth lifetime success at Swan Hill on Tuesday night (February 9).
Starting from outside the back row, the four-year-old began like a rocket and surged to the front inside the first 600 metres. He was never afterwards headed.
The mile rate for the 2240 metres was 1:58.4.
Bred by Sue Wegmann, Maxactor is out of the Panorama mare Miss Potential and is her sixth foal and third winner. He ranks as a half-brother to the top racemare Nikkibadwagon 1:53.2 ($167,020).
AUCKLAND REACTOR has already sired 19 individual winners in Australia this year.
