Two Fiftyeight in 1:53.8

AUCKLAND REACTOR sired very impressive winners in both hemispheres at the weekend.

Two Fiftyeight NZ, a six-year-old gelding, came from midfield to win in a career-best 1:53.8 at The Meadowlands, New Jersey on Saturday night. The gelding has now won 10 races in North America.

He is out of the Courage Under Fire mare Woman In Black, the dam of four winners including Miss You (1:51.6).

Royal Admiral, a five-year-old, took full advantage of a perfect trip to trounce his rivals at Tamworth (NSW) on Sunday night.

The gelding clocked 2:00 for the mile.

The winner of three races, Royal Admiral is from Life Coquette, a Life Sign mare who has thrown three sub 2:00 winners from as many starters.
