Swan Hill double

AUCKLAND REACTOR took the siring honours at Swan Hill on Sunday night (December 20) with a winning double.

The three-year-old gelding Would You Mind NZ and the five-year-old mare Alibi both recorded their first successes, advancing AUCKLAND REACTOR’s tally of individual winners in Australia this season to 105.

Would You Mind, who was having his first start, slotted into the one-one trail before peeling three-wide nearing the straight entrance. He exploded to the front and won as he liked by 4.5 metres.,

The mile rate for the 2240 metres was 1:57.4. The last 800 was clocked in a sizzling 55.4.

Bred by Alabar Bloodstock, Would You Mind is out of a Presidential Ball mare.

Starting from the pole, Alibi enjoyed a box seat trail from the outset and, after gaining racing room late, finished over the top of the leaders.

The mile rate was 1:58.6 for 1750 metres.

The chestnut mare is the fourth foal and first winner from a Trump Casino mare.
