Promising AUCKLAND REACTOR gelding Blue Blazer NZ posted his tenth lifetime success at Gloucester Park on Friday night (December 11).
After enjoying a perfect trip, the five-year-old peeled three-wide on the home turn and quickly gobbled up his rivals.
The mile rate for the 2536 metres was 1:59 with the last 800 in a slick 57.2.
Blue Blazer has now earned almost $75,000.
Bred by Melburnian Harvey Kaplan, the gelding is out of the unraced Jet Spirit (by Jereme’s Jet), the dam of Tinder Surprise (1:55.5), who ran second in a Vicbred Super Series heat at Ballarat on the same night that Blue Blazer won.
