AUCKLAND REACTOR sired metropolitan winners on either side of the country on Tuesday (October 27).
Gold Reactor won in a career-best 1:54.2 at Menangle, while Im Spiderman lowered his lifetime mark to 1:57.3 at Gloucester Park.
Gold Reactor, who enjoyed a box seat trail throughout, sprinted sharply up the lane to prevail in the last stride.
The five-year-old gelding, who is out of an unraced Ball And Chain mare, has won eight races and $108,668 in stakes.
Im Spiderman, a four-year-old gelding, led from go to whoa and clocked a final 800 in 57.3 to easily stave off all challengers.
From a Tyler’s Best mare, the gelding has now won six races and almost $40,000.
AUCKLAND REACTOR was represented by a third winner on the night when the three-year-old Congo Line won at his second attempt at Mount Gambier, rating a brilliant 1:57.9 over 1780 metres.
The brown gelding, who is from a winning McArdle mare, scored by 13.4 metres.
