AUCKLAND REACTOR was credited with a ‘new’ two-year-old winner when the filly Highinauckland trounced her rivals at her third start at Penrith on Thursday (October 1).
Sent straight to the top, the filly was never seriously tested and had 8.7 metres to spare at the end.
The mile rate for the 1720 metres was 1:58.2 with the last 800 in a sharp 57.6.
A member of Paul Fitzpatrick’s team, Highinauckland is the first foal out of the 10-win mare Mile High Anvil NZ (by McArdle).
Earlier in the week the AUCKLAND REACTOR three-year-old Juddy Douglas maintained his consistent form with an effortless end-to-end success at Globe Derby Park.
He rated 1:58.5 over 2230 metres.
Out of a Falcon Seelster mare, Juddy Douglas has won nine of his 20 starts including seven wins this season.
Double O Heaven, a New Zealand bred daughter of AUCKLAND REACTOR, chalked up her fourth success at Charlton, rating 1:59.7 for 2100 metres. She is out of a mare by Live Or Die.
AUCKLAND REACTOR has left 94 individual winners in Australia this season and they have amassed $1.5 million in stakes.
