AUCKLAND REACTOR’s exciting three-year-old Willie Go West was a most impressive winner at his second start on Australian soil at Cranbourne on Sunday (September 27).
Starting from the outside gate, the brown gelding was trapped wide in the early part before rolling to the front at the end of the 26.8 opening quarter.
After a 59.7 middle half, Willie Go West zipped home in 28.8 to easily hold his rivals by 1.1 metres.
Time for the flying mile was 1:55.4.
