Willie A Go Go!

AUCKLAND REACTOR’s exciting three-year-old Willie Go West was a most impressive winner at his second start on Australian soil at Cranbourne on Sunday (September 27).

Starting from the outside gate, the brown gelding was trapped wide in the early part before rolling to the front at the end of the 26.8 opening quarter.

After a 59.7 middle half, Willie Go West zipped home in 28.8 to easily hold his rivals by 1.1 metres.

Time for the flying mile was 1:55.4.

Willie Go West has won three of his five lifetime starts for $34,270 in stakes. He won a Listed classic at Addington, New Zealand earlier in the year.

AUCKLAND REACTOR was also represented by recent winners in the three-year-old Mac Stubborn, who posted his third win from his last four outings at Tamworth, and the four-year-old Shanks For Coming, a winner in a career-best 1:59 at Wagga.

AUCKLAND REACTOR has sired 94 individual winners in Australia to date this season.
